Fans of the hit game series "Grand Theft Auto" are looking forward to the day that the next game installment will be released.

According to GTA6daily.com, it has been confirmed that a "Grand Theft Auto 6" will happen and this news came from Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar Studios, the game's developer and publisher.

Benzies stated that while the developers don't know what the sixth game will be, they have some ideas.

With that in place, the question now will be how different will the new game be from the previous ones?

Speculations have started to surround the game once again. One of them is the news about GTA 6 game location, which is reported to be any location in the United States and could be a new one that has not been referenced in the previous installments.

GTA is usually set in a particular city, the fictional Vice City, which is equivalent to Miami or Liberty City for New York. Now, fans are demanding that the new game feature a playable map covering all of America, as reported in IBTimes.

As for the release date, 2018 is a possible target for GTA 6, if Rockstar's release schedule will be followed.

Even though GTA, GTA 2, and GTA 3 were launched just a few years apart, it appears that Rockstar has been holding off a bit longer the release of the succeeding installments, mostly because games these days need to have great quality of graphics and a more interesting gameplay.

Meanwhile, it is also being rumored that new car models will be featured in GTA 6. The website gta6grandtheftauto.com claims that there could be additional vehicles like Ford pickup trucks, Hot Rods, and Chevy SS Camaros.

It was also stated that the game will most probably be released in PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One, but a personal computer (PC) platform will also be available due to an anticipated demand for such.

Rockstar still needs to make some new announcements on the development of GTA 6. Until then, fans will just have to sit and wait for the big announcements to come.
