"Final Fantasy 15" will in all likelihood finally come out this year, and fans are now getting a better idea of what game they can actually expect.
In an interview with Examiner.com, "Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tabata talked about the leveling system that will be featured in the game.
To start with, according to Tabata, the game will feature a traditional kind of leveling system wherein the characters' stats will improve as they progress through the game, but then there is a second route that is less conventional.
Tabata revealed that there would also be certain actions inside "Final Fantasy 15" that would help players level up further. This other leveling system would be based more on the action-based system installed in the game and it may be the way to strengthen some of the combination attacks that can be executed inside "Final Fantasy 15."
It was also recently revealed that "Final Fantasy 15" will be featuring two distinct kinds of battle modes.
In a post on the game's official forums, "Final Fantasy 15" lead designer Masashi Takizawa revealed that the two different battle modes would basically act as the game's difficulty settings.
The first type of battle mode will be based more on action game principles, necessitating players to react quicker and to be more precise with their movements. The second type of battle mode will provide players with slower paced encounters, allowing them to be more methodical with their approach to dealing with opponents.
The game's developers installed the different battle modes after receiving some complaints from fans about the battle system present in a demo previously made available for "Final Fantasy 15" known as "Episode Duscae," Polygon reported.
More details about "Final Fantasy 15," including its exact release date, are expected to be revealed in March.
"Final Fantasy 15" is currently expected to be released sometime in 2016.
