'Fallout 4' tips and tricks: How to level up faster

"Fallout 4" Bethesda Softworks

Players can become more powerful inside "Fallout 4" by leveling up, and thankfully, there are things that can help speed up that process inside the game.

First off, it pays to focus on the SPECIAL chart in order to gain helpful experience boosts. Investing points in the Intelligence attribute, in particular, will be very helpful to those who want to level up in the game faster.

Simply put, the higher the Intelligence, the more experience points players will receive in "Fallout 4," so it's an attribute that should not be ignored for those driven to be the Commonwealth's most powerful resident, according to VG 247.

Sticking with the SPECIAL chart, under the Luck attribute, players will be able to find the Idiot Savant perk, and this too is essential to gaining heaping amounts of experience points. The Idiot Savant perk can grant up to three or even five times more experience for random things that players do in "Fallout 4."

Unfortunately, the Idiot Savant perk is most effective when players have low Intelligence, so players will be best served to invest in it early on and then move on to other ways to boost their experience gains later on in the game.

One of the most overlooked things "Fallout 4" players can do to boost their experience gaining capabilities is to simply get some sleep.

According to The Guardian, players who sleep in their own beds can gain the Well Rested bonus, and it does more than just heal a character. The Well Rested bonus also gives "Fallout 4" players 10 percent more experience points for their actions, although the boost will last only for eight hours.

One more way to gain experience points quickly and easily in "Fallout 4" is to continually complete the repeating missions in the game. "Fallout 4's" different factions will provide players with repeatable quests that are fairly easy to complete, and doing these again and again will help players level up much faster.
