'Fallout 4' underwater DLC release likely? what to expect

Bethesda has yet to announce what kind of downloadable content (DLC) will be featured in the game, although most fans and players now subscribe to the notion that "Fallout 4" will be featuring some underwater content.

In recent months, several players have taken the time to actually venture deep into the Commonwealth's waters and many of them have emerged with the belief that the game will soon feature DLC based on what lies underneath the waves.

Some players have even spotted things such as underwater vaults and pointed to those as pieces of evidence that "Fallout 4" will eventually ask its fans to go down into the deep.

Some players are even so sure that "Fallout 4" will feature underwater DLC that they have even begun to theorize about the existence of a seemingly mythical creature.

According to one Reddit user, who goes by the name "Lavonicus," the fabled Ghoul Whale that some non-player characters (NPCs) in the game talk about may actually be inside "Fallout 4," Gaming Bolt reported.

Lavonicus theorizes that the buoys players can sometimes find bobbing about will actually lead to the Ghoul Whale once the fabled creature is added to the game as DLC.

The Reddit user points out that the buoys have already been used to mark underwater items in the game, so they could in theory also be used to denote the location of something larger.

Whether or not the Ghoul Whale turns out to be something that actually exists inside "Fallout 4" is a question that perhaps only Bethesda can answer.

Aside from the Ghoul Whale, rumors have also suggested that "Fallout 4" may feature underwater content in the form of even more vaults and perhaps even a submerged city, according to N4BB.

For now, only Bethesda knows what will be added to the game, and until they finally release the DLC for "Fallout 4," fans can do nothing except wait to see what exactly the developer has planned.
