It has only been a few weeks into 2016 and "Fallout 4" players are already itching to get their hands on some new content, specifically some downloadable content (DLC), although they have nothing to sink their teeth into as of yet.

Bethesda has mentioned that the game's DLC would be coming out in 2016, although exactly when has been the question on the minds of many players.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, new "Fallout 4" DLC is reportedly set to arrive sometime in early 2016, although that spacious time frame leaves a lot to be desired for some fans.

Bethesda has continued to remain silent regarding the subject of DLC outside of what they have already revealed in the past.

The hope among gamers is that the first batch of "Fallout 4" DLC released in 2016 will just be the initial salvo in what will be a consistent wave of new content added to the game.

Bethesda has already mentioned that they are planning to release several forms of DLC well into 2016, so that certainly seems to be the case.

A $30 season pass is already available for the game for those who want to make sure they don't miss out on any new content.

The good news for some "Fallout 4" players is that even without any new official DLC, the game's modding community is still submitting consistently quality additions.

One of the latest mods available for "Fallout 4" is a new alteration that introduces seasons into the game.

The mod is the creation of "Fallout 4" player "GameDuchess," and it does bring about significant changes to the game's landscape.

Instead of day and night changes, the "Fallout 4 Seasons" mod now allows players to see what the Commonwealth looks like during winter, spring, summer, and fall, Eurogamer reported.

Thanks to the new "Fallout 4" mod, winter brings snow; spring adds greenery; summer's the time for harvesting; and fall is for foliage.

More news about "Fallout 4" should be made available soon.
