"Evolve" players can get set to welcome a new monster into the game.

The new monster in question is known as Gorgon, and she looks primed to unleash terror onto the game's unsuspecting players.

Gorgon can deploy any number of her fearsome attacks to bend players to her will. She can make use of her jagged teeth to scare and tear away at her foes or she can also use her webs to trap them and then proceed to watch as they struggle to get free before ultimately succumbing to her powers, according to Gamespot.

Players will be able to go up against Gorgon starting Nov. 3, when she becomes available for purchase as downloadable content (DLC) for $10. Players who already have the "Evolve" Hunting Season Two Pass will no longer need to fork over the money in order to unlock Gorgon inside their games.

In addition to the news regarding the new DLC monster, "Evolve" is also set to receive its own game of the year-style release, according to Destructoid.

A new "Evolve: Ultimate Edition" is set to hit stores also starting Nov. 3, and as would be expected from any kind of release as this, it will be adding content that was not included the first time around.

For the "Ultimate Edition" of the game, players will be receiving a total of 10 new characters that were not previously included in the game's initial release.

For those wondering, the "Ultimate Edition" of the game will also include the aforementioned Gorgon.

To be more specific, "Evolve: Ultimate Edition" will include the Monster Expansion Pack, as well as both the season one and two hunting passes. Of course, the base copy of the game itself will also be included in the aforementioned edition, according to a separate Gamespot report.

"Evolve: Ultimate Edition" will be on sale for $60."
