"Driveclub" could be receiving a lot of new content next month, as the game's developer has announced plans to release a major update for the racing title.

According to the game's developer, Evolution Studios, they will be "packing a lot" into the February update, although exactly what it contains is still a mystery.

Along with the tweet that contained the February update announcement, Evolution Studios also released a short video teaser for the new content.

The video shows off two new cars inside the game, and it has led some players to wonder if additional vehicles might be coming to "Driveclub."

Some have even asked if perhaps the R34 Skyline could be added to the game's collection of cars.

Evolution Studios has yet to announce any of the new items that will be introduced in the February update.

There is some confusion surrounding the upcoming "Driveclub" update that stems mainly from the fact that players don't know if the new content will be delivered for free or if they will have to pay for it.

If the February update for "Driveclub" winds up containing paid content, then players will have to take out their wallets regardless of whether or not they have already purchased the season pass for the game.

According to GameSpot, the game's season pass only covered the paid content that was delivered all the way up to July of last year.

The confusion has led some players to ask if there would be a second season pass released for the game.

Unfortunately, Evolution Studios has thus far refrained from revealing more about that possibility.

Instead, the game's director Paul Rustchynsky tweeted that the developers would be revealing more about the upcoming February update over the coming weeks, Cinema Blend reported.

Fans will simply have to wait out the next few weeks to find out more about the new content coming to "Driveclub."
