With "The Balance of Power" update now in full effect inside "Dota 2," players can now enjoy the many changes coming courtesy of it, but it appears there are still more tweaks on the way.
According to Softpedia, some minor fixes have been implemented inside "Dota 2" in the wake of the major update's arrival.
The tweaks have been made to some of the items inside "Dota 2," most notably the Ring of Basilius and Vladimir's Offering.
Some heroes' skills have also been tweaked ever so slightly, with Doom's Infernal Blade and Faceless Void's Time Walk being fixed in order to provide better balance inside the game.
It's unclear if those will be the last batch of changes made to "Dota 2" or if more are still waiting in the future, although any new tweaks will likely be very minor as well.
While "The Balance of Power" update is drawing a lot of attention due to the fact that it added a new hero along with some items to the game, other players are focusing more on what it does to the actual gameplay.
Several heroes have been changed via the major update, and the new items themselves are promising to open up new gameplay strategies inside "Dota 2."
According to PC Gamer, jungling inside "Dota 2" has been changed drastically by the arrival of the new update. As the website points out, the new item known as the Iron Talon could make it easier for other heroes to successfully farm the jungles inside "Dota 2," whereas they may have been unable to do so previously.
"Dota 2" players who love to trot out Pudge will also be happy to know that "The Balance of Power" has strengthened the hero immensely, making him an even more menacing presence in the battlefield.
With so many new changes inside "Dota 2," it will be interesting to see how hardcore players will react to their recently updated game.
