'Clash of Clans' news: New update set to tweak loot farming in the game

An upcoming "Clash of Clans" update will be addressing one of the more divisive issues inside the game that have popped up since the addition of Town Hall 11.

The issue addresses loot farming. More specifically, it aims to fix some of the problems involving loot farming that have emerged since the release of the Town Hall 11 update.

According to Design and Trend, loot farming inside "Clash of Clans" has become more difficult since the arrival of the Town Hall 11 update. On top of that, some players have even had difficulties preventing attacks ever since the changes that came with the recent major update were implemented.

More than a few "Clash of Clans" players were understandably not amused by the sudden changes, and have been vocal about their dislike for the tweaks. It looks as though those complaints have reached Supercell, as the developer is now looking to fix the issues.

The developer will be looking to fix loot farming inside the game by introducing three new features.

First off, star bonuses will basically act as resource upgrades for players who meet certain conditions, while a new loot card should help with gathering some items.

Lastly, a treasury will be added, and it will act as a storage unit for loot that cannot be ransacked.

It's unclear if the addition of the three new features will fix what ails "Clash of Clans" at the moment, although fans will find that out soon enough.

Unfortunately, how soon remains an open question as the developer has announced no specific release date for the arrival of the new update, Touch Arcade reported.

"Clash of Clans" will simply have to stay glued to Supercell to find out exactly when the new update will actually arrive.

The upcoming "Clash of Clans" update will also be providing some balance tweaks and other bug fixes to the game.
