'Clash of Clans' news: New update making major changes to the game

A major announcement at this past weekend's ClashCon event put players on notice regarding a massive update headed to the popular mobile game.

According to "Clash of Clans" server programmer Jonas Collaros and as reported on by Bitbag, the upcoming update for the game is the biggest one in the game's history.

As of now, players already know about some of the contents of the upcoming update, including the new Town Hall 11, defense, and the news that a third hero will soon be headed to "Clash of Clans," but that does not appear to be all that is planned by the game's developer, Supercell.

Collaros went on to say that the developers are intending to make widespread changes to "Clash of Clans" via the update, although what that means for now is still unknown.

The good news is that the company will be providing players with sneak peeks that should give them some idea about what they can reasonably expect from the update.

The sneak peeks are expected to begin in a few weeks, although these two have no official dates attached to them, meaning fans will have to stay tuned for possible updates from here on out unless they want to miss out.

With Supercell planning the sneak peeks already, the hope is that the update will be rolling out sooner rather than later.

According to Game Zone, the timing of the announcement regarding the major update coming to "Clash of Clans" could mean that it will be last one scheduled for the game for this year.

This could also mean that the major update may be ready sometime around the middle of November or it could also indicate that the new changes will not be coming out until at least the early part of December.

More news about the major "Clash of Clans" update should become available soon.
