ZTE Nubia X8 specs: 4 GB RAM, bezel-less display and 5120 mAh battery to be featured

ZTE, which recently announced several models of its Nubia Z9 handset, is rumored to be working on yet another smartphone that boasts 'top of the line' hardware configurations. According to Phone Arena, the handset features a bezel-less display that resonates a QHD resolution. However, the total number of pixels mentioned by the source is 2556 by 2440 pixels, which is much higher compared to resolutions that measure in at 2560 x 1440 or even 2560 x 1600 (Galaxy Note Edge's resolution).

It is possible that the measurement was an error on the author's part. However, if the rumor does turn out to be true, then ZTE will be preparing a handset that will have the highest recorded smartphone resolution in existence, for now. While every detail present inside Nubia X8's interface will become extremely embellished thanks to such a high resolution, it will still have a negative effect on the device's overall battery life.

This is probably the reason why the rumor suggests that the smartphone is armed with a 5,120 mAh battery, which should provide sufficient battery life, even for a smartphone exuding a resolution higher than the QHD standard. Additional details from the report state that Nubia X8 will have a screen size that will be in the range of 5.5 and 6 inches.

Chipset and processor details were not provided in this report, although it did state that the handset will feature 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. With the aforementioned RAM value, consumers should expect that Nubia X8 will be incorporated with a powerful mobile chipset, such as a Snapdragon 810, or even Helio X20.

Unfortunately, there were no details provided on Nubia X8's release date. Since the company recently announced its Nubia Z9 handsets, it might be a while till the company announces another smartphone. However, consumers should keep an out for Q4, 2015.
