Microsoft has just announced February's lineup of free games being made available via the Xbox Games with Gold service.
For the month of February, both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners will gain access to two free titles each for their respective Microsoft consoles, according to Major Nelson.
Starting off with the two free games coming to the Xbox One, the first of the pair is "Hand of Fate."
"Hand of Fate" is an action role-playing game (RPG) title that also integrates elements of a trading card game, according to Game Rant. It will be available as a free download via the Xbox Games with Gold service throughout the whole month of February. Non-Xbox Live Gold members can also get the game for $19.99.
The other free Xbox One title available for free via the service is "Styx: Master of Shadows."
As the name of the game alludes to, "Styx: Master of Shadows" is a stealth title for Xbox One owners to try out. "Styx: Master of Shadows" will be available via the Xbox Games with Gold service starting Feb. 16, and players will be able to download all the way up to March 15. Interested players who are not Xbox Live Gold subscribers can also get the game for $29.99.
Next up are the two games being made available to Xbox 360 owners, but because of the backward compatibility feature, these titles can also be played on the Xbox One.
The first of the two Xbox 360 games being made available for free is "Gears of War 2."
Plenty of Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners likely possess some kind of familiarity with "Gears of War 2," but for those who have yet to try it out, they now have a great opportunity to do so. "Gears of War 2" will be available to download starting Feb. 16 all the way up to the end of the month. It is also on sale for $19.99.
The last title coming for free via February's Xbox Games with Gold lineup is "Sacred Citadel."
The game features RPG elements combined with a unique art style that some players may find interesting. "Sacred Citadel" will be available via the Xbox Games with Gold service from Feb. 1 up to Feb. 15.
Players who are not subscribers to the Xbox Games with Gold service can also get "Sacred Citadel" for $9.99.
