Tim Tebow returns to TV after brief NFL preseason stint

After a preseason stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow has now made his return to television.

Tebow's return to television is in the role of an analyst for the SEC Network's travel show known as "SEC Nation."

Despite having made his way back to the role of analyst, Tebow has indicated that he has not given up on his National Football League (NFL) dreams just yet.

According to Philly.com, despite failing to latch on with the Philadelphia Eagles, Tebow has kept an eye on the latest happenings inside the NFL and he has been aware of the run of injuries to quarterbacks in the league.

The former Heisman trophy winner had seemingly landed a roster spot with the Philadelphia Eagles near the end of the preseason after the team shipped another reserve quarterback, Matt Barkley, to the Arizona Cardinals. Instead, the team opted to cut Tebow and bring in Stephen Morris to be their third-string quarterback.

As for Tebow, the quarterback has expressed that he does not know what's in store for his NFL career, although he has admitted to watching a lot of football even now that he's currently out of the league.

In related news, Tebow's name has recently been brought up as a possible replacement for currently injured Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

The Tebow to fill-in for Romo rumors began to pick up even more steam after Texas Governor Greg Abbott mentioned the possibility of the Cowboys possibly signing the former Heisman trophy winner, Fox Sports reported.

Romo is expected to be out of action for around eight weeks. He was already out during team's recent loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Right now, the Cowboys have decided to start former Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden in Romo's spot while the latter heals from his fractured left clavicle.

The Cowboys have also recently traded for quarterback Matt Cassel.
