A new update coming to "Rocket League" is promising to change the way the game can be played.

In a recent post by Psyonix vice president of marketing Jeremy Dunham on the official PlayStation Blog, he revealed that a new update will be adding so-called mutators to "Rocket League."

These mutators will basically provide players with additional presets and customized settings that have been designed to provide different experiences when it comes to enjoying "Rocket League."

There appears to be a good amount of new options that will be included in the latest update, with changes ranging from those that will affect the ball and even the time inside the game.

According to Polygon, some of the notable options that will be made available via the next update include the beach ball option, cubic balls and a new pinball setting. The bounciness, size, speed, type and even the weight of the ball inside "Rocket League" can also be altered via the latest update.

Boost amount and strength will also be subject to change thanks to the latest update and respawning time as well as time warps will also be permitted as well. Customized settings for match length and max scores are also coming as well as other interesting changes such as slo-mo, demolition and the always intriguing alterations that can be made to the gravity inside any game such as "Rocket League."

The update will also be adding a playlist known as the Mutator Mashup, according to Gamespot. This addition will reportedly be mixing together the other settings into a randomized combo that players will then be able to try out.

The new update coming to "Rocket League" is expected to arrive in November.

After this latest update, a new hockey-inspired mutator will also be coming to "Rocket League" in December.
