There's more new content coming to "Rocket League" this year, as the Chaos Run downloadable (DLC) pack is scheduled to arrive by December.

Chaos Run will be adding a variety of goodies with post-apocalyptic theme to "Rocket League," according to the official PlayStation Blog.

Among the most notable additions are the two new battle-cars, Ripper and Grog, that are being added to the game. Both cars would seem to be the perfect vehicles to cause untold mayhem in the remnants of civilization.

Aside from the new implements of destructions, players will also be receiving two apiece of new paint types, rocket trails and wheels. On top of that, players will also be getting three new antennas and toppers as well as five new trophies to add to their collection. The Chaos Run DLC will also provide a dozen new decals for players to use.

The Chaos Run DLC for "Rocket League" will be available for $3.99.

Being released alongside the new paid content will be the new arena known as Wasteland.

According to Kotaku, Wasteland is unlike many of the other additional arenas that have been released for the game, mainly because it's simply bigger than any of the earlier maps.

Wasteland will also provide a unique experience to players through situating boost placements in new areas across the map while simultaneously featuring a sloped perimeter.

All of the new content, including the free arena, will be released in December, although an exact launch date has yet to be announced.

In related news, there appears to be no current plans to release any kind of season pass for "Rocket League" anytime soon, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. The comments regarding the absence of season pass for "Rocket League" came from Psyonix Vice President Jeremy Dunham.

Dunham indicated that the studio dislikes the idea of selling the "promise" of new content prior to them actually being able to deliver it.

The website was able to spot this little tidbit in the comments section of the official PlayStation blog containing news about "Rocket League."
