Prior to the release of "Project CARS" next month, Slightly Mad Studios announced that the upcoming racing video game will come out with 110 courses and 30 locations straight out of the box.

According to GameSpot, the included courses and locations are inspired by the real tracks that can be seen all over the world, such as the popular Zhuhai International Circuit in China, the Mount Panorama in Australia, the Dubai Autodrome in the United Arab Emirates, Germany's Nürburgring, the U.K.'s Chesterfield, as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans that can be seen in France.

Other circuits include the Monza in Italy, Belgium's Circuit Zolder, Watkins Glen International in the U.S., the Oulton Park in England, and the Glencairn located in Scotland. The rest of the locations and courses are posted in the official Project CARS website.

The sim racer game will reportedly come out in the U.S. on May 6 in various platforms like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The European and Australasian markets will see it on May 7, while the U.K. will find the game on May 8. Meanwhile, the rest of the North American countries will get it on May 12.

The "Project CARS" release date was delayed thrice since the game developer announced its release. It was first reported that the realistic racing game will come out in November 2014, but it was moved to March 2015. However, the studio pushed the release date further to April, which did not push through either. The new release date is expected to be the final one.

Still, the release date of the game's Wii U and Steam versions are unannounced at the moment. On the other hand, the last-gen console versions (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) have been cancelled.

The game was funded by the developers and the racing community, but it will be distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
