Another legendary Pokémon is on its way to the United States.

The legendary Pokémon known as Hoopa is finally set to make its stateside debut and the good news is that "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" players will be eligible to receive the new addition. Hoopa is also coming to older titles from the franchise, with those being "Pokémon X" and also "Pokémon Y," according to Serebii.

Although the news that a new legendary Pokémon is on its way to the United States is almost assuredly the most important one for fans of the franchise, there is another part of the story that is drawing interest online.

This is most likely because Hoopa will be distributed through McDonald's branches all across the United States. It's not exactly clear why Hoopa will be distributed through outlets of the fastfood giant, but that is the case for now for players.

Players who do want to claim Hoopa will need to bring their Nintendo 3DS handhelds with them as well as the game of their choice, then proceed to head over to the McDonald's branch that is participating in the event to get the new Pokémon.

It is still unclear how exactly players will be able to claim Hoopa as it has yet to be confirmed if it will be done through the redemption of codes or perhaps through other methods.

Players will have ample time to claim Hoopa, as the distribution event will begin on Nov. 27 and run all the way through Dec. 23, Polygon reported.

The upcoming distribution event for the legendary Hoopa that will be offered to "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Alpha Sapphire," as well as "X" and "Y" players comes at the heels of earlier events that took place over the last two months in both Japan and Europe.
