The October lineup of PlayStation Plus free games has yet to be officially announced, yet it appears as though one of the titles has already been revealed.

If the rumors are indeed correct, then subscribers can soon expect to get their hands on "Super Meat Boy" when it becomes available via the service next month.

As of now, there are some facts seemingly leaning towards "Super Meat Boy" becoming available for free via the PlayStation Plus service next month.

First off, the game is already lined up to be officially released on Oct. 6, according to Gamepur. Perhaps not coincidentally, the October lineup of PlayStation Plus games is scheduled to go online a day earlier on Oct. 5.

There's also the fact that Sony has already announced previously that "Super Meat Boy" will indeed be available for free through the PlayStation Plus upon being launched.

As of now, the only thing that could get in the way of "Super Meat Boy" becoming part of the October PlayStation Plus lineup is if the game was instead offered as a bonus of sorts to subscribers as opposed to being an official part of the list.

All that appears to be missing is the official word from Sony confirming "Super Meat Boy" will be part of the lineup.

"Super Meat Boy" is also expected to be available for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation Vita when it is indeed finally launched.

Oct. 6 is also the scheduled release date for another game and this one is "Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition."

This upcoming game will be a text-driven title and is expected to be released for both the PS4 and PlayStation Vita, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

It is unclear if "Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition" could be yet another title that will be part of the October PlayStation Plus lineup.
