The New York premiere of One Direction's new movie This Is Us is just hours away and the band's hoards of devoted fans will no doubt be counting down every minute and second.
The boys will be at the red carpet event fresh from winning MTV Video Music Award's Song Of The Summer gong for Best Song Ever, helped just a little by their fans voting for the hit pop track in their droves.
It wasn't all adoration for the 1D boys at the awards, however, as they were booed while they collected the award.
With the cameras still rolling backstage afterwards, they were filmed in a group hug with Lady Gaga who gave them a word of support. "Don't you dare let those people boo you," she was heard saying, before hugging the band and posing together for pictures.
One Directioner Liam Payne was heard saying: "F**k it, f**k it."
Things always look different in the morning, as the saying goes, and he tweeted his gratitude to Lady Gaga on Monday: "Morning everyone what a night yesterday was would like to thank @ladygaga for her support yesterday and her extraordinary outfits ;)"
However, as laid back as ever, bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan seemed unruffled by the event when they took to Twitter after the event to thank fans for voting for them.
Harry tweeted: "Thank you so much for the VMA.. You surprise us every time with your incredible support. Have a good night .xx"
Niall was equally appreciative, tweeting, "Wow! Can't believe we won! Thank you soo much for voting in your Millions! Love you soo much! You've no idea."
Zayn was also grateful, tweeting: "So the VMA's were sick !! Thank you to the fans :D love you guys x"

The UK premiere of the film in London's Leicester Square showed 1D fans sure can scream. Fans are wondering whether their girlfriends will be making an appearance at their side once again after Liam's new girlfriend Sophia Smith joined him at the event last week and newly engaged Zayn Malik's bride-to-be Perrie Edwards was snapped wearing her enormous diamond engagement ring.
