Is "No Man's Sky" being lined up for an October release?

That's the latest rumor that has come out about the game after what fans believe are recent indicators seemingly suggesting that it is indeed nearing its official debut.

The first bit of news being pointed out as a possible reason to believe that the game will be coming out soon is the fact that the man behind the game, Sean Murray, is scheduled to make an appearance on the late night talk show "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

Murray will reportedly be sitting down for an interview with Colbert, and he is also expected to provide a demo of the game during the show, according to Design and Trend.

The other interesting piece of news that seemingly hints at a sooner than expected release of "No Man's Sky" is a recent poll that went up on GameFAQs. The poll asked gamers which title they were most looking forward to in October, with the choices being "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," "Halo 5: Guardians," and "No Man's Sky."

Whether the poll means anything or not at this point cannot be determined, but the latest news surrounding the game can certainly lead people to believe that a major announcement about "No Man's Sky" is coming soon.

The game itself has been the subject of plenty of hype in recent months especially with its over 18 quintillion planets just waiting to be explored.

The planets themselves offer unique environments as well, according to the International Business Times India, with some presenting relatively friendly conditions, while others may not be conducive to players. The planets are also populated with different kinds of flora and fauna that players can interact with as they make their way through "No Man's Sky."

Players who also manage to discover a completely new planet or organism can even opt to have it named after them.

"No Man's Sky" promises to be an interesting title at the very least, and now it might not be too far off from finally arriving.
