Google's newest pair of smartphones, the Nexus 6P and 5X are reportedly affected by some hardware issues.

Starting with the Nexus 6P, users have been pretty vocal recently about an issue that keeps them from talking properly with someone on the other end of a call.

Some users have reported that upon trying to make a call using the Nexus 6P, the person on the other end of the line is only able to hear what amounts to a jumbled mess of noise that is barely audible.

According to Android Police, the problem in this case may be emanating from the phone's noise cancellation system. Users are even split on how the system works, with some suggesting that covering the rear mic of the Nexus 6P can get rid of the issue, while some saying that doing so actually causes the problem in the first place.

Google has yet to provide a clear answer and solution for this particular issue, although the company has urged users to try to start the phone in safe mode and see if the problem still persists.

Some Nexus 6P owners have also complained about the glass covering the device's rear camera seemingly cracking for no reason, according to Forbes.

As for the Nexus 5X, some users have reported an issue that leads to the phone's touchscreen being nearly unresponsive whenever they are charging it, according to NDTV.

Users have indicated that typing and even just simply swiping when the phone is being charged becomes nearly impossible, even when its original charger is being used.

This issue again is seemingly causing a rift among Nexus 5X owners, as some have reiterated that the charger does nothing to remedy the problem, while some have said that it is the root cause of the touchscreen becoming suddenly unresponsive.

Google has yet to address the issue concerning the Nexus 5X.
