"NBA 2K16" players have been patiently waiting for the arrival of new locker codes for a while now, and there's hope that additional ones will be coming this month.

According to The BitBag, new locker codes could be released to help commemorate special calendar events, and if that is the case, then February could provide ample opportunities for doing so.

"NBA 2K16's" developers could decide to release new locker codes to help celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year or if not that, then it's also possible that they could launch something later on in the month for Valentine's Day.

There's also a chance that locker codes could be released just in time to mark the start of next week's slate of All-Star activities.

It's also possible that the game's developers may be considering some promotional tie-ins for the new batch of locker codes, even though obvious candidates for such have not emerged.

Unfortunately, "NBA 2K16" players will have no choice other than to hope that new locker codes are released soon, but until the developers say anything official, the wait will have to continue.

The good news for players is that with or without locker codes, they will still have new content to try out this February. Just recently, the game's developers have announced that the 2016 All-Star uniforms are now available inside the game. With the start of the NBA's All-Star Weekend just a week away, "NBA 2K16" will now get the opportunity to also see the new uniforms up close.

Aside from the 2016 uniforms, the court design being used for the 2016 All-Star game has also been added to the game.

Prior to the update, the pieces of All-Star content inside "NBA 2K16" were based on last year's festivities, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

February could turn out to be a very busy month for "NBA 2K16" and more news about the game may be released soon.
