Leatherface is set to start wreaking havoc inside "Mortal Kombat X" soon, but even though the new character is not part of the game just yet, fans can still get a sneak preview of what he will be able to offer.

In a recent video shared by IGN, the game's developers gave players a closer look at some of the new character's moves.

The video starts with Leatherface hitting his opponent with an uppercut that sends his foe plunging down a pit filled with tall spikes.

Next, fans get a look at Leatherface's Brutality as he uses a hammer to pummel his opponent repeatedly.

The next sequence shows off Leatherface's X-Ray attack, and it involves him using his trademark chainsaw while simultaneously striking his foe with a hammer.

Last up, Leatherface's Fatality is also featured in the video, and in this sequence, he uses his chainsaw much in the way that he has done so in movies, causing his opponent to fall in battle from the damage that has been dealt.

In another video shared by IGN, fans were also able to learn more about the abilities of Leatherface himself and whether or not he may be a fighter suited to their playing style.

According to the game's developers, Leatherface is a fighter that has a distinct reach advantage over his foes, thanks to his chainsaw.

While not the fastest fighter in "Mortal Kombat X," players who are able to utilize his extended range will still be able to win consistently.

With his bruising style of fighting, Leatherface can become a favorite for players who have a similarly rugged approach to in-game combat.

Players eager to try out Leatherface inside "Mortal Kombat X" will be able to do so as early as March 1, which is the date that Kombat Pack 2 is scheduled to be released.
