"Metal Gear Online" will be getting plenty of new content next month, and the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) drop goes beyond just offering additional maps.
First off, players can look forward to gaining access to a new mission soon. The new mission, known as "Sabotage," will be free to all players upon being released.
In "Sabotage," the players designated as the attackers will be tasked with destroying the enemy missile before the end of the round, according to the game's official website.
Destroying the missile is not going to be an easy task, since players will first need to hack into terminals in order to disable the barrier that surrounds it. On top of that, the attackers will also have to deal with the defenders who are tasked with ensuring the missile stays intact.
Aside from an additional mission, next month's content drop will also include new in-game communication features known as Appeal Actions.
There will be four different Appeal packs being added to the game next month. The four packs will include Basic Appeal Actions, Battle Appeal Actions, Dance Appeal Actions, and Hero Appeal Actions.
All four packs will be included in the "All Appeal Pack" that will be on sale for $6.99. Players can also get individual Appeal Packs for $1.99 each.
Players can also purchase another DLC pack for the game known as "Cloaked in Silence." The "Cloaked in Silence" expansion pack will be on sale for $3.99, and it will include a new playable character along with three new multiplayer maps.
Quiet, the new playable character coming to "Metal Gear Online," will feature incredible sniping skills together with an ability to move around the map faster than other characters, although she will not be talking inside the game. Instead, Quiet will utilize different humming noises to communicate, according to Konami.
More details about Quiet are also expected to be revealed soon.
No exact release date for either of the two "Metal Gear Online" DLC packs has been announced thus far.
