MacBook Pro 2016 specs rumors: New laptop not expected until 2016

Even though Apple has certainly been active in terms of releasing new products in recent months, fans are still left scratching their heads regarding the absence of some expected arrivals, with one example being the MacBook Pro 2016.

The MacBook Pro 2016 has been expected for a while now, but Apple has remained mum on the matter, and has instead opted to promote their other recent releases.

For what it's worth, the rumors have tried to do Apple's job and has projected all kinds of release dates for the laptop. Most recently, the rumor mill has settled on a spring 2016 launch date for the new laptop as the newly minted most probable timeline, according to the Australian Network News, although this is unverified.

Still, Apple's silence regarding the MacBook Pro 2016 may be for a good reason; they may just not be ready to launch it yet.

There are reportedly numerous reasons for why the MacBook Pro 2016 is not ready.

First off, the internal components of the rumored laptop may not be available yet. The MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly be equipped with Intel's Skylake brand processors, and the delay in the release of such could have made a direct impact on Apple's offering as well.

Another possible reason behind why Apple has not released the MacBook Pro 2016 as of yet is they have chosen to focus on other devices. Apple fans have undoubtedly heard about the iPad Pro, and that remains the company's focus for now, according to Neurogadget.

After that, the company will reportedly then shift its focus toward the MacBook Air 2016, which would again set the launch date for the MacBook Pro 2016 even further back.

Apple certainly doesn't want to over-saturate the market with their products, so holding off and releasing them at intervals would not at all be strange for the company. It may just be that the MacBook Pro 2016 drew the short end of the stick and ended up being the last one the company got to.
