The LG V10 will be coming with wireless charging after all.

Initially, LG announced that the V10 would not be coming with the wireless charging upon its first arrival, but now, it appears as though the company has decided to go in a different direction.

Instead of making the wireless charging feature wholly unavailable, LG will instead offer a special back cover that is designed to accommodate the wireless charging feature, according to Korea's ET News and as reported by Phandroid

The back cover will be designed to work with any Qi-enabled wireless charger.

The special back cover for the LG V10 is expected to be released not long after the phone itself is launched, although the exact date has not been announced.

As for the other specs and features of the LG V10, in terms of its processor, the new phone will reportedly feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 chipset. That will then be paired up with 4 GB of RAM.

The phone will provide users with 64 GB of internal storage, and it can be expanded all the way up to 128 GB by using a microSD card, according to GSM Arena.

The LG V10 will have a 5.7-inch LCD display, which will then be protected by Gorilla Glass 4 to help preserve it from cracks and other kinds of damage.

It will have a primary camera providing up to 16 megapixels that will also feature autofocus and image stabilization. Its secondary camera will provide up to five megapixels.

In terms of the V10's other features, it will have an accelerometer and compass as well as gyro and proximity sensors. The V10 is also expected to feature faster charging at a rate of 50 percent within 40 minutes of being plugged in, although it's unclear if that will also apply for its wireless variant.

The LG V10 is expected to arrive in the United States before the end of October.
