Kim Kardashian post-baby (photos): Reality star tries hypnoband to lose more weight

Kim Kardashian's mum says she is working hard to lose weight after the birth of her daughter North

According to her mum, Kim Kardashian is trying really hard to lose weight after the birth of baby North West.

The reality TV star has kept a pretty low profile since the birth of her daughter to Kanye West in June, with the speculation being that she wants to shift the last four stone before stepping back into the limelight.

According to reports, the 32-year-old has tried a 'hypnoband', a form of hypnotherapy aimed at helping people lose weight.

The treatment has reportedly been successful, with Kim losing her appetite for the sweet stuff.

One source told Now magazine: "The therapist puts Kim in a semi-trance and then keeps repeating to her how she needs to eat healthily and work out.

"He shows her photos of herself looking super-slim."

The source continued: "Kim's then hypnotised into thinking she has a gastric band and can only eat so much. Kim's always had a sweet tooth, but so far the hypnotherapy definitely seems to be working."

Her mum, Kris Jenner, recently reported that Kim still had some work to do before she gets back to her previous size 6.

"She's not there yet. She is working hard. She's not there yet, and if she were there already, it would be freaky weird," said Kris.

Part of Kim's post-baby makeover includes a dramatic change in hair colour to blonde, similar to the shade she sported back in 2009. See the photos on E!Online here

She was snapped with the honey-coloured locks on her way to a friend's barbecue.  North was being carried at her side in a baby carrier covered by a blanket.

A new clip for the family's show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality star mulling over the possibility of showing off her post-baby body in a nude photo shoot for Playboy magazine.
