Members of the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting" are focusing their attention on the brighter things in life amid the Josh Duggar scandal. This time, the spotlight is on Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson, who are currently enjoying a courtship relationship.
The family shared a "too cute" photo of Josiah and Marjorie goofing around on its Facebook page, saying that "these two make us smile!"
"These two are doing so well in their courtship. It is a fun and wonderful time for them. We love watching God unfold life as they seek Him during this special time," the family says.
Josiah and Marjorie started their courtship this April, and the Duggar and Jackson families could not be more thrilled for them.
"I don't think either of us was surprised," Marjorie's dad Greg Jackson, a graphic designer, told People about the kids' relationship.
Marjorie's mother, Analucia, a Spanish teacher, even added: "One thing we noticed is that both of them show a strong level of maturity—they love God, they love their families and thrive around people, and both make other people feel special. They like to laugh, they are always laughing."
As for the Duggars, Jim Bob and Michelle are very supportive of their son's choice. "She is such an incredible young lady," Michelle gushed. "Those firstborns tend to be go-getters, and that is definitely the case. She has such a fervency and will make such a difference in the world. She has so many gifts and talents and has such a humble spirit."
On the other hand, Jim Bob is lauding Josiah for picking someone just like his mother. "I have always told my sons, if they find someone like their mother, snap them up," Jim Bob said.
