Nobody took Jessa Duggar's wedding to Ben Seewald harder than her best friend and younger sister Jinger, and the young reality star from 19 Kids and Counting is recalling how difficult it was to let her sister go.

"It was super hard, just those moments right before Jessa got married realising that our relationship was going to change," Jinger, 21, said in a video obtained by Us Weekly. "That was a really tough time."

Their mother said that all the Duggars are very close and that is why each one's absence is always sorely felt. "It definitely feels different here at home because whenever there's one that's not here there's that gap," she shared. "We are such a close-knit family that you notice when one's not here."

Jessa and Jinger, in particular, have formed a very close relationship and consider each other "besties." It helps that they were born just 412 days apart from one another, and their close age gap helps them identify with each other more. They might have different personalities, said their parents, but they have a deep respect for one another and enjoy doing a lot of similar activities.

"They pray together. They talk a lot. They bounce a lot of ideas off each other," said Michelle. "They are motivated people, both of them. They like to get a job done."

Their father Jim Bob also added: "Jessa and Jinger love shopping together, they love cooking together, they love organising together. They love going on trips together. They just love being together."

As for their differences, Jessa is pretty outspoken while Jinger chooses her words carefully because she is afraid of offending other people. And Jinger loves being behind the camera too, whereas Jessa prefers disciplining and homeschooling her younger brothers and sisters.
