Jessa Seewald has been experiencing the joys of pregnancy for seven months now as she and her husband Ben await the arrival of their first child this November.

However, the expectant mother cannot deny the challenges she's facing in carrying a baby.

In an interview article that appeared in the Duggar Family Blog, Jessa revealed the highs and lows of her pregnancy with Baby Seewald. For her, the best thing about being pregnant is feeling her baby come to life.

"For sure, one of the most amazing parts of pregnancy has been feeling those tiny (and sometimes powerful) little kicks! It's seems amazing how we can find ourselves so in love with someone who we've yet to meet face-to-face," she said.

But as Jessa experienced, pregnancy is not always a bed of roses. "Of course there are some aspects of pregnancy that can be difficult, such as morning sickness (which I was blessed to only have to deal with for about four weeks), and heartburn, and the shortness of breath that occurs when baby is cramped up in there and pressing on your lungs!" she noted.

As difficult as these things are, Jessa would like to look at the glass half full and consider herself truly blessed, given what other women have gone through.

"I cannot complain in the least when I see dear friends who have suffered multiple miscarriages, or unusually difficult pregnancies, or even infertility. Even when things in pregnancy seem difficult, I can't help but think of others who are dealing with so much more. This really puts things in perspective for me," she said.

Jessa said she has been trying to maintain a healthy diet for Baby Seewald. She and her husband have been getting regular exercise to keep their baby in tip top shape.
