Newly married Ben Seewald shared an inspiring message to his nearly half a million followers Friday on Instagram.

The 19-year-old contrasted a photo of a sunlight forest with a picture of waves crashing against a rocky cliff as an illustration of "inner peace" versus the "storms of life."

The photo's caption referenced Philippians 4:6-7.

"Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God," Seewald said. "And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

In his Facebook bio, Seewald wrote that he wants to be a pastor or a missionary, and that Jesus is "everything" to him. He ministered to thousands in his most recent Instagram post.

"Draw close to God," he insisted. "Trust and commit to Him every aspect of your life. If you are at peace with God through the death of His Son Jesus on your behalf, then whatever happens in life, you can have peace. Do not be worried. Don't be burdened with cares and anxiety.

"Surrender it all to Jesus and you too can have a peace that passes beyond comprehension! A peace so deep, so complete, so transcendent, that is [sic] cannot be stirred. No matter what your circumstances, in sickness, in health, in poverty or danger, no matter what people say or do to you, your peace they will not take away. And why? Because it is a peace founded in God Himself.

"Though the storms of life may rage around you, like waves crashing angrily against the solid rock cliffs, you can have the tranquility of a calm walk through a sunlit forest, with the birds singing in the trees. Trusting in God, you can be more firm than the rocky cliffs.

"The waves crash up furiously, but eventually the storm is spent, and all of its fury subsides. Back into the sea the waves roll. The cliff however, still stands. I urge you to find this peace if you don't have it!

"It isn't a confidence in yourself, but in something FAR greater than frail humanity: Almighty God Himself. Go deep with God. Trust Him. Surrender to Him. Know Him as He reveals Himself to you through prayer and His Word. Have the peace of God that cannot passes [sic] understanding!"

Over 20,000 people have "liked" the encouraging post.

Seewald, his wife, Jessa, and the Duggar family appear on the hit TLC show "19 Kids & Counting," airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET
