Jessa Duggar pregnant! '19 Kids and Counting' stars Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald expecting their first baby

The Instagram post of Ben Seewald that hides his wife's tummy ignited speculations about Jessa's pregnancy. Instagram

It has been confirmed that Jessa Duggar is pregnant!

"We're expecting!" Jessa, confirmed to PEOPLE. "We are so excited. The due date is November first, our wedding anniversary."

Ben Seewald shared his excitement: "We are looking forward to being parents."

The pregnancy of "19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa Duggar has long been rumored since she tied the knot with Ben Seewald last year. However, at that time, the couple laid emphasis on waiting on the Lord and the possibility of them adopting.

Prior to the confirmation, reports claiming that Jessa was expecting had gotten stronger, and clues that point to another Duggar pregnancy were all over the place.

For one, Ben posted a photo posted on Instagram, which shows him allegedly covering up the 23-year-old reality star's stomach with a cowboy hat. This has led many believe that he does not want the world to see his wife's growing baby bump just yet.

Media outlets were very much convinced that the odd placement of the hat was to deliberately cover Jessa's growing tummy, which may be the subject of the "special news" the Seewalds will be delivering in the upcoming episode of "19 Kids and Counting."

Moreover, a Twitter user named Jayci Goss claimed that Jessa happened to wander around the maternity and juniors section of a store at Ross. If that is any indication, the reality star may be prepping for a new Duggar baby.

The Duggars have always loved the idea of a big family and their sizable unit is proof to that. Jessa and Ben may not have started as early as her sister Jill and brother-in-law Derick Dillard, who recently became parents to a baby boy, but creating their own family is reportedly also top priority for them.

It certainly looks like the Duggar brood is swelling up and the household may be welcoming another little one in a few months time. Although the media thinks that Jessa and Ben are busted despite their best efforts to make it a surprise, the only way to know for certain is to tune in to "19 Kids and Counting" on April 21 for the couple's big announcement.
