Apple has yet to officially announce the iPhone 7 but that has not stopped rumors online from suggesting all the supposed changes that will be implemented in the upcoming device.

One of the latest rumors now suggests that the iPhone 7 could end up featuring an internal upgrade.

According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and as reported by Bidness ETC, the newest iterations of Apple's line of smartphones will be featuring 3 GB of RAM. More specifically, Kuo said that it will likely be the iPhone 7 Plus that will feature 3 GB of RAM, while its smaller counterpart will continue to sport 2 GB of RAM.

Apart from the upgraded RAM, Kuo also predicts that the iPhone 7 will also come equipped with the new A10 processor when it is finally released.

Kuo has developed a reputation over the years of being fairly accurate when it comes to his iPhone-related predictions, and indeed, his prognostications would not be out of line with what has been a constant barrage of rumored changes that will supposedly be implemented in the newest Apple smartphone.

Over the last month, rumors have also come out regarding the iPhone 7 that have suggested that the new smartphone will end up with a drastically overhauled design that may not even feature a home button, although this has not been confirmed.

In related news, the iPhone 7 may also end up being released sooner than expected.

Most news outlets have settled on a September release date for the iPhone, but according to a source speaking to Apple Insider, the company is supposedly eyeing an earlier release date for next year's flagship device.

Apple has made a habit of releasing new iPhones during the month of September, but if the source is correct, then that pattern will change next year.

Unfortunately, the anonymous source did not indicate what the earlier release date of the iPhone 7 might be, so people will simply have to wait for new updates related to the matter.
