More details about a new phone from HTC has emerged from the Chinese certification agency known as TENAA.

The new phone, dubbed as the One X9, will most likely not be all that unfamiliar to people who have been following the company.

In recent months, details about another HTC phone, known as the One A9, have also leaked online, and the one that was outed by TENAA is reportedly not all that different, according to The Verge.

The biggest difference between the One A9 and the One X9 may just be their screen sizes, as the former measures at right around five inches while the latter comes in at a slightly larger 5.5 inches.

In terms of the other specs and features expected to be included in the One X9, it is reportedly not too different from its smaller version.

It is also expected to feature an octa-core processor, although its manufacturer has yet to be identified.

The One X9 will also reportedly feature 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage. Users can also reportedly expand the phone's internal storage all the way up to 1 TB by using a microSD card.

The One X9 is also expected to have a 13-megapixel rear camera that will be paired up with one up front that provides five megapixels, according to Android Police.

Other specs and features of the One X9 have yet to be revealed, although such will likely be detailed in the near future.

Some folks online have also noted the similarity in appearance between HTC's One X9 and another phone released in the past few months — Google's Nexus 6P. The biggest difference between the two devices is the camera panel of the Nexus 6P, although there may be more dissimilarities that have simply not been reported yet.

No official release date has been announced for the One X9.
