More details regarding the multiplayer mode inside "Halo 5" have now been officially announced.
First off, the game's developer, 343 Industries, touched on what it would take for players to get banned inside "Halo 5."
The game's developer indicated in its announcement that actions such as betraying teammates, excessive disconnections, being frequently idle, intentional suicides, and quitting matches will be among the things that players can do to earn themselves a ban.
The duration of a specific ban will be dependent upon the nature of the offense and also on the number of times a partcular player has been guilty of it, Polygon reported. As of now, 343 Industries has not provided a specific or prescribed ban duration for any kind of offense.
343 Industries also indicated that the game has been designed to stay on top of these offenses, so players will likely be better off just avoiding these altogether.
Commendations are also included in "Halo 5." Commendations are what players earn for completing specific objectives in the game's multiplayer mode. This time around, the Commendations system in "Halo 5" will be featuring five tiers.
343 Industries also revealed that medals will be coming back in "Halo 5," Gamespot reported.
The medals are coming back for three specific reasons. First off, they will be given to players for their exceptional objective play. Next, they will also be handed out for the purposes of earning REQ points, and lastly, the medals have returned to recognize actions from certain players who warrant recognition.
The game developer has also unveiled some of the other tweaks and additions they have made to "Halo 5."
For example, players will not be able to join any Arena match that is already underway, although they will be allowed to Warzone matches that have already started.
Other details about the game's matchmaking and CSR ranking system have also been announced.
"Halo 5" will be released on Oct. 27.
