'GTA V' fixes raft of technical problems for the PC platform

After a period of two years since the open world action adventure video game was released for the previous generation consoles, Rockstar Games finally released "GTA V" for Microsoft Windows. However, there are still some known issues that the developing and publishing company is trying to sort out in order to provide PC gamers with the best content from the newly released video game. Given below is a list of common problems that Microsoft Windows platform owners are suffering from, along with their possible solutions.

1. The Rockstar update service is unavailable

Rockstar Games has stated on its official website page that it is in the midst of rolling out a fix that will prevent gamers from experiencing this error.

2. Steam 'installing' error

According to PC Gamer, some PC owners have also complained of suffering from an error in which Steam displayed an 'Installing' window for a few seconds and then closed by itself, without any form of warning. It is advised that gamers wait patiently for a fix, since it is mostly likely linked to Rockstar Social Club connection issue.

3. Singleplayer and/or Multiplayer does not start

The above issue is the most common one being experienced by PC gamers. According to instructions present on Reddit, desktop and/or laptop owners are advised to disable their primary graphics adapter (this can be NVIDIA or AMD) and run the game on Intel's iGPU. After re-launching the game, users should re-enable their adapter and the game will start accordingly.

4. Infinite loading loop on Rockstar Social Club

Another common error being experienced by gamers, Rockstar Games has advised that if desktop and/or laptop owners are stuck in an infinite loading loop, then it is most likely that the auto-sign in process has failed. At this point, users should tap the 'Home key' and see if they can log in manually.

Given above are the four primary issues being experienced by PC gamers. As stated earlier, Rockstar Games will be rolling out a fix in the near future to alleviate these issues. Individuals should keep a lookout for the appropriate fixes and apply them accordingly.
