Football fans now have a new way to enjoy their favorite sport, thanks to the most recent addition to "Grand Theft Auto 5."

Released just recently, Running Back is the latest addition to the game's adversary mode, and it's basically football, "Grand Theft Auto" style, according to Gamespot.

In Running Back, players can join one of two teams, each composed of four to eight players. The two teams will then line up on opposite sides of the road.

On one side will be the offense, and that team will be made up of one designated Runner. The Runner's goal will be to make it across the road and past the marked end zone at the end of the highway. Helping the Runner make it to the end zone are other drivers who will basically be blocking their opponents, just as offensive linemen do in football. The Runner will be driving a Benefactor Panto, while the blockers will be inside BF Biftas.

On the other side is the defense, and their goal is to simply prevent the Runner from making it to the end zone. All of the defenders will be driving BF Biftas.

Running Back will be playable at three different locations, and those are La Mesa Bridge, Raton Canyon Bridge, and Zancudo Tunnel.

Unfortunately, not all "Grand Theft Auto 5" players will be able to enjoy Running Back as it is being made available only to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and personal computer (PC) versions of the game. As has been done in the past, the last generation versions of the game will not be receiving this new bit of content.

The last-gen versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5" are reportedly not receiving new additions mainly because of their memory limitations, according to Express UK.

At this point, it's unclear if the last generation versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5" are still in line to receive any new content.
