The first few months of 2016 may feature a pair of Xbox One titles making their debuts on personal computer (PC).

First off is a game that already has a confirmed PC release date in "Killer Instinct."

Microsoft has recently confirmed that the PC version of "Killer Instinct" will officially be released in March of next year, although an exact date has yet to be given, GameSpot reported.

Season 3 of "Killer Instinct" is also set to make its debut in March, so it's likely that Microsoft will simply line up the release dates for the new content and the game's PC port.

"Killer Instinct" will also provide cross-platform play, allowing friends to play against one another regardless of which play style they may prefer. Players who may already have "Killer Instinct" for the Xbox One will also be glad to know that the content they buy for the current version of the game will also be carrying over to its PC port.

While "Killer Instinct" may have an already confirmed release window, the same cannot be said for "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition."

Recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer was asked on Twitter if "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" may make its way to PC right around the same time as "Killer Instinct," MCV UK reported.

Unfortunately, Spencer did not exactly provide a specific answer to the query, although he did say that the release "won't be too far into 2016."

It's hard to pinpoint a specific date with only that response as a guideline, although it could mean that the "Gears of War" game may make its PC debut in the first half of 2016 rather than sometime in the later months.

Players eager to try out "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" on PC will simply have to wait for more updates regarding the launch of the game.
