
The new Galaxy S7 smartphones may be set to make their debuts very soon.
The newest line of Samsung smartphones are expected to make their debuts at the upcoming "Unpacked" event that has just been recently announced by Samsung.
Samsung's upcoming event will take place on Feb. 21 at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona, according to the company's official website.
The event is taking place just a few hours ahead of the official start of the Mobile World Congress that is also being held in Barcelona, Spain.
Folks who may not be able to make it to the "Unpacked" event but still want to stay updated on the latest news can also catch its livestream that will be shown on both YouTube and the Samsung Newsroom website.
Samsung has yet to announce what they will actually show off during the event, but it's widely assumed that the company will be using the platform to finally showcase the Galaxy S7 line.
According to NDTV, both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge are likely to make their respective debuts at the "Unpacked" event, although Samsung may also be planning to feature other gadgets.
Specifically, rumors suggest that the company is also planning to use the "Unpacked" event to reveal more details about the Samsung Gear VR headset, although the focus is still expected to be on the new Galaxy line.
Currently, the Galaxy S7 is expected to feature two different kinds of processors. The processors would reportedly vary, depending upon which region they would be delivered to.
The new smartphone is also rumored to have 4 GB of RAM along with as 64 GB of internal storage. Rumors have also suggested that the Galaxy S7 may be bringing back microSD card support for those who may desire to have more storage space available.
More details about the Galaxy S7 are expected to be made available in the lead-up to the "Unpacked" event.
