Three different versions of the Galaxy S7 smartphone may be launched at the same time.

News of Samsung's plans concerning the new Galaxy S7 variants came from noted tipster Evan Blass. According to Blass, Samsung will be launching the standard S7 model, S7 Edge, and the S7 Edge+ at the same time.

As NDTV noted, absent from the list of variants Blass mentioned was the previously rumored Galaxy S7+. It's now currently unclear if Samsung has decided to launch this variant of the Galaxy S7 line later on or if the company may have simply scrapped plans to make it altogether.

Samsung has yet to confirm when they plan to release their new Galaxy S7 line, although most folks expect the company to do so sometime in February.

More specifically, rumors suggest that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S7 line at the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona, Spain this year. The event is scheduled to run from Feb. 22 to 25.

In related news, recent rumors also suggest that the Galaxy S7 may have a new feature available when it is eventually released.

According to an unnamed source spoken to by Android Geeks, the Galaxy S7 is reportedly set to have its own version of the Live Photos feature that can be seen on some Apple iPhones.

The new feature is still reportedly in development, and it may be added as part of a software update as opposed to being a day one offering inside the Galaxy S7. Still, Samsung is reportedly planning to make the new feature available right from the start.

Samsung is also reportedly considering different names for the new feature, with options such as Timeless Photo and Vivid Photo being on the table.

The rumored feature will apparently differ from Live Photos since it will not record sounds along with the images. With sound not being a part of the rumored feature, this tweak will reportedly allow users to upload the images to Facebook with greater ease.

More news about Samsung's Galaxy S7 should be made available soon.
