There could be as many as four different variants of the Galaxy S7 to be released next year.

At least that appears to be the case, thanks to new listings posted by accessory maker IT Skins and as reported on by NDTV

According to the product listings posted by the accessory maker, they will be making cases available for four different variants of the Galaxy S7. The variants will include the standard Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S7 Plus, the Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

The product listings don't exactly confirm that Samsung intends to release four different versions of their next flagship device, although the possibility has indeed been mentioned in earlier rumors.

It's also unclear just exactly what differences will exist between the four versions, although screen sizes will reportedly vary.

According to South Korea's Electronic Times and as reported on by Reuters, Samsung currently has plans to outfit the standard S7 unit with a 5.2-inch flat screen while opting for a larger 5.5-inch curved screen for the S7 Edge.

Screen sizes for the S7 Plus units are currently unknown.

As for the other specs and features of the Galaxy S7, according to Alphr, the new Samsung phones could also feature increased battery life. The new Samsung units may even feature new batteries capable of lasting up to days, and if proven true, that would certainly be a welcome development to folks looking to get a new smartphone.

The Galaxy S7 is also rumored to feature the return of the microSD slot.

The latest rumors currently suggest that the Galaxy S7 will be officially launched during the 2016 Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona, Spain. The event will run from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25, so folks eager to find out more about Samsung's Galaxy S7 will want to mark those dates down on their calendars.
