In recent days, rumors have popped up saying the Galaxy S7 will most likely reintroduce microSD card support to Samsung's flagships when it is officially launched. Now, that same feature is also being suggested as a possibility for the Galaxy Note 6.
Samsung fans had lamented the loss of microSD card support in this year's batch of flagship phones from the company. Now, it looks as though the company is doubling down on its efforts by making the feature available as well in their signature line of tablets.
Yet, another Galaxy S7 feature that could also end up in the Galaxy Note 6 is the 4K resolution, according to ValueWalk.
Rumors of a Samsung tablet being released with 4K resolution have been around for a while, so the company finally pulling the trigger with the Galaxy Note 6 would not be too surprising at this point.
Other rumored specs and features of the Galaxy Note 6 have also made their way online in recent months.
According to Neurogadget, the new tablet could feature as much as 8 GB of RAM when it finally hits the market. The new tablet has also been rumored to feature a 16-core processor as well as a significantly enhanced battery that should allow it to function properly even with the improved specs.
An official release date for the Galaxy Note 6 has yet to be announced, but there are rumors suggesting the tablet could be launched earlier than some of its predecessors.
A third quarter release date for the Galaxy Note 6 is said to be a very real possibility.
Considering how rumors have also indicated that Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy S7 earlier than expected, the company doing the same for the Galaxy Note 6 would not be all that surprising at this point.
More news about the Galaxy Note 6 is expected to arrive soon.
