'Fallout 4' update: Lynda Carter lends her voice to a character in the game

"Fallout 4" Bethesda Softworks

To a certain generation of people, Lynda Carter will always be known for portraying the character of "Wonder Woman," but there's a chance that future generations may get to know her through a different role.

According to Polygon, Carter will be lending her voice to one of the characters inside "Fallout 4."

Carter's character will be named Magnolia, and it looks as though players will be hearing a lot from her. Players will presumably be able to find Magnolia in a bar inside a town named Goodneighbor. Apparently, players will be talking to Magnolia a lot as the bar she resides in will be a hub of activity inside "Fallout 4."

There's not much else known about Magnolia and her background, but players can look forward to hearing her sing.

Carter has reportedly written and recorded five different songs specifically made to be used inside "Fallout 4," and players will be able to hear those as they encounter Magnolia inside the game.

One of the songs is named "Good Neighbor," a tune that will be about the world inside the game itself. As of now, it is still unknown what the other four songs will be about, although they too will presumably be related to "Fallout 4."

In related news, Gamespot has just detailed some of the special edition releases of "Fallout 4."

First off, is the Pip-Boy Edition, although this highly coveted offering for the game is already sold out and Bethesda has said that they will not be releasing any new bundles of it.

Next up is the Gold Edition of "Fallout 4," and this bundle will give players a copy of the game itself as well as its downloadable content (DLC) pass and even a handy pair of Vault Boy socks. This bundle is currently available only at Best Buy for $85.

A Digital Deluxe Edition of "Fallout 4" is also available, although this bundle is only for the Xbox One.
