'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: More training ahead for Goku in upcoming episodes

More training, that's what fans and Goku himself can look forward to in the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super."

In previous episodes of the show, it was revealed that Goku is set to undergo training, alongside Vegeta, under Whis' watchful eye. Whis, of course, is the old mentor of the God of Destruction, Beerus.

As strong as Goku has gotten, he has still recognized that the level he is at now is not enough to overcome Beerus, and thus the need for him to train.

Apparently, that will be a theme of "Dragon Ball Super" moving forward, as Goku will continue to receive training until he can manage to finally match Beerus' skills.

Apart from more training for Goku and Vegeta, the next few episodes will also feature the returns of some familiar faces.

According to Yibada, one of Goku's previous opponents, Ginyu, is slated to show up in "Dragon Ball Super." To be more specific, Ginyu is expected to make an appearance in episode 22 of the series, and unsurprisingly, he will be yet another foe set to challenge the might of Goku.

Ginyu is not the only familiar foe that fans can expect to make a return in "Dragon Ball Super."

None other than their old foe known as Frieza is now rumored to be showing up on the show very soon after he was, apparently, brought back to life, according to Design and Trend.

It's unclear just how big of a threat Frieza can actually pose to Goku and his friends in "Dragon Ball Super," as the show has not hinted at any possible development up to this point.

Still, Frieza's return will be a welcome development to fans. The even better news is that he is expected to show up very soon, as he is rumored to appear in the 19th episode of "Dragon Ball Super."
