Bungie has hinted at what players can expect from "Destiny" for next year, and the game's developer looks to be indicating that there is a lot to look forward to.
During a recently released Bungie update, "Destiny" Community Manager Erik Osborne revealed that there are still a lot of things planned for the game in the immediate future.
Osborne revealed that new content in the form of activities, events and new features can be expected to arrive next year and he also hinted at what Bungie has planned for the early part of 2016, IGN reported.
According to Osborne, players can expect a new experience rivaling that of the Festival of the Lost debuting first in 2016. Considering its spot on the calendar, 2016's first "Destiny" event could very well be a nod to the new year, though Osborne did not elaborate further.
The game's community manager also revealed that fans can look forward to something big coming to "Destiny" in 2016. According to him, another massive content release they have planned will be the biggest one that's been launched for the game since "The Taken King" expansion pack. Unfortunately, Osborne did not elaborate on what kind of release that would be.
Osborne also told fans to expect changes being made to the world and the sandbox inside "Destiny" by next year.
While the majority of what Osborne talked about focused on what Bungie has planned for the game for next year, he did also talk about the current event taking place in "Destiny," which is the Sparrow Racing League.
According to Gamespot, Osborne's comments regarding the event would seem to indicate that Bungie has plans to either extend it or perhaps make it available again sometime in the future.
Osborne told fans to let the developers know if they wanted to see more of the Sparrow Racing League.
With 2015 wrapping up, it looks like fans will still be able to look forward to more things coming to "Destiny" next year.
