Dancing with the Stars season 17 casting rumors 2013: John Stamos, Farrah Abraham, Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil in the line-up?

It won't officially be announced until September 4th but tongues are already wagging as to who is going to be on the line-up for season 17 of Dancing with the Stars.

Names linked with the hit ABC show this year are Backdoor Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, former baseball player Jason Varitek, Fullhouse star John Stamos, and actor Seth MacFarlane.

Paula Deen turned it down and in the past, the handsome Stamos has ruled DWTS out, tweeting back in 2010: "I'm not doing 'Dancing With the Stars'. The eleventh hour confirmations are leaving everone guessing.

Country music star Jo Dee Messina told fans via her Facebook page that she had met with ABC executives about appearing on DWTS but we are none the wiser as to whether she has actually signed up.

A more surprising name linked to the new series is Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil, who has gained notoriety not only for her shocking tan but her forays into music.

Another name doing the rounds is the opinionated Abby Lee Miller from the hit Lifeway show Dance Moms, which would be interesting if true as pro-dancers Mark Ballas and Derek Hough have both been critical of the show. Both dancers went as far as to say the show was "abusive"

The line-up for the next Dancing with the Stars will be confirmed by ABC on the channel's Good Morning America show on September 4.

The season premiere will air on ABC on Monday, September 16.
