Ciciotti, who is from Michigan, began her video by admitting she was quite nervous about discussing a topic that many people her age feel strongly about. But after praying over it, she explained that she wanted to be open to her YouTube followers.

The vlogger said that she ran a Twitter poll in which many expressed curiosity over whether she actually drinks or goes to bars or not. She confessed that she had been to a bar at least three times but she has never gotten drunk.

"I undoubtedly believe that Christians cannot be drunk, that is just one thing that the Bible makes very clear," Ciciotti said. "God says that he does not want us to be drunk or have anything master our bodies or make us be out of control, and not aware of everything."

Ciciotti also said that when her friends invite her to join them at a bar, she doesn't use her faith as an excuse to decline the invitation. However, that when she does go out, she doesn't drink like most people do and still makes an effort to dress up modestly.

The YouTube star further explained that she makes a conscious choice not to be influenced by what's around her and cited Romans 14: 1-23 that speaks about resisting temptations. She also cited Jesus as an example as He "went to the worst places" and "hung out with prostitutes" and tax collectors but was never corrupt.

"We should be strong enough to know I'm not going to be influenced by the world, I will influence the world," Ciciotti said.

Ciciotti recently went viral when she revealed that she abstained from having sex until she got married to her husband, Jordan, in June 2017. In their five years of dating, she shared that they resisted temptations by not staying up late together, or being alone at home together, and never going swimming together.

The YouTube vlogger shared that they experienced some ridicule over their choice and that some people questioned Jordan's sexuality. Ciciotti, however, said that the decision to abstain from sex until marriage made her bond with her husband stronger.
