Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure is having a whirlwind season serving as a co-host on the talk show "The View," and it's all because of the election season.

"This is one of the craziest election years I think any of us have ever known," she told FOX411. "It's just so wild. I always think to myself, 'What a year for me to have joined 'The View' during this political race for the presidency.'"

Bure joined the show in 2015. She admitted that one of the biggest challenges she faced was being the only conservative host on the show.

"I realise sometimes I am the lone conservative or lone Republican sitting at the table some days. And some days it's hard to not have backup but we are all there to share our opinions and I think that's one thing about me, I don't get hot headed," she said.

Bure knows that their conversations on the show can sometimes get very intense, but she believes Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone, Joy Behar, and the rest of the ladies of "The View" do not mean to cause any trouble.

"I don't take any of it personally," she said. "I don't think really any of the women are on the panel mean it personally. We all have different opinions. That is why we are there."

The "Fuller House" actress strives to be open and honest with her co-hosts all the time, and it does not really matter if they agree or not. "I believe in healthy conversation, and that's what I always try to bring to the table. I don't get overly impassioned or angry with someone who doesn't agree with me, that's just my personality," she explained.

As for her political views, Bure has admitted her distaste for presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Bure is not sure whether she would remain loyal to her party or just vote for the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, who clinched her party's nomination on Tuesday.

"I am actually still very undecided as to what I am going to do as far as voting," she said. "I hope over time it isn't as much of a circus, and we really get into the issues, and I look forward to hearing the candidates be [the] best presidential self they can be. I think that's really going to help me determine where my vote goes."
