Fans can look forward to a more challenging game when "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is officially released.
More details recently coming out about the game have indicated that it has just received a new difficulty setting known as "realistic."
The new level of difficulty has not appeared in earlier games from the franchise, and it appears to be the most challenging one that players will be able to experience in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," according to Gamespot.
Previously, difficulty levels in "Call of Duty" games included "regular," recruit," "hardened" and "veteran."
It's unclear as of now exactly what the "realistic" difficulty entails.
Some rumors suggest that the new difficulty may eliminate regenerating health in the game, although the game's developer, Treyarch, has yet to confirm anything official as it relates to the new level of difficulty.
Other details that have emerged about the game include the news that the "Dead Ops Arcade" mini-game will be coming back in the latest installment of the franchise. The level cap for the game's multiplayer has also reportedly been upped all the way up to 55.
In related news, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has just been hailed as the most anticipated video game release of the fall, according to a recent Nielsen survey.
The game garnered a 98 percent anticipation rating among gamers aged seven to 54 years old, USA Today reported. The survey was conducted between Aug. 24 to Sept. 19.
If the title of most anticipated video game release of the fall does not sound impressive at first, it becomes more significant when other titles are mentioned.
Two other games, "Fallout 4" and "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," set to be released soon also managed to draw in impressive anticipation ratings, although both fell short of bagging to top spot as they settled in at 95 percent.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is set to launch on Nov. 6.
