The Awakening downloadable content (DLC) pack for the Xbox One version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be released next month.

More specifically, the DLC pack will be released on March 3, according to the updated listing of the game's season pass on the Xbox Store.

Awakening is the first DLC pack for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Players who will be getting the DLC pack will receive four new multiplayer maps along with the next chapter in the game's Zombies mode.

The first of the four multiplayer maps included in Awakening is Gauntlet. In Gauntlet, players will be taken to a military training facility that features three distinct areas, with one being a jungle setting; another resembling an arctic landscape; and the last location looking similar to a rain-soaked city.

The second multiplayer map featured in Awakening is Rise. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players trying out Rise will find themselves inside a massive construction site set in snowy Zurich. Due to the complex nature of this multiplayer map, players will have to utilize different approaches to combat in order to overcome their foes.

Also included in Awakening is a new multiplayer map that is based on the Hijacked setting previously featured in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, according to the game's official website. The third map, known as Skyjacked, takes place on a security VTOL that players will have to successfully navigate.

The last multiplayer map included in Awakening is Splash. Set in abandoned water park, Splash provides players with a unique setting filled with elements that are hard to find in other "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" maps.

Awakening will also feature the next Zombies mode chapter known as Der Eisendrache. In Der Eisendrache, players will find themselves making their way through a medieval castle that is also home to a wide variety of horrible creatures.

The Awakening DLC pack is already available for the PlayStation 4 version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
